Kitchenaid Vs Cuisinart Hand Blenders!!

When people think about small kitchen appliances, undoubtedly a couple brand names that come to mind are Kitchenaid and Cuisinart. When shopping around for the best hand blender, one will surely come across these two popular brands once again. Many people will compare the Kitchenaid vs Cuisinart hand blender models before purchasing. Which is best? Take a look below for a detailed comparison.

KitchenAid vs. Cuisinart Hand Blenders - The Big Differences

At first glance, the most obvious difference between most Kitchenaid and Cuisinart hand blender models is in the pricing. Kitchenaid immersion blenders tend to be a little more pricey compared to the Cuisinart. However, they are both very popular models.
So what’s the real difference between them? Let’s take a look at some comparable Kitchenaid and Cuisinart models side by side.

The Most Popular KitchenAid Hand Blender Models

cuisinart vs kitchenaid kitchenaid, KitchenAid 3-Speed Immersion BlenderThe “KitchenAid 3-Speed Immersion Blender” is the cheapest model available from the company, and consequently the most comparably priced hand blender to any of the Cuisinart models.
This is NOT a popular model on Amazon.com with reviewers. However, it’s included here simply because the pricing is similar to Cuisinart models. People tend to bash this model compared to the following model on this page. This design has a lot of plastic components and weak 3-speed motor that, according to users, is disappointing to say the least.

The KitchenAid KHB100ER Hand Blender, conversely to the above model, is a very popular design that has a large gathering of raving fans.
It has 9 variable speeds, which means it is super versatile for a variety of blending needs. User reviews at Amazon.com rave about the ease of clean up, one-touch power button, deep immersion depth (8 inches) and overall quality design. You won’t find a bunch of cheap feeling plastic parts on this design. It’s a little more expensive than the following Cuisinart models, but just like most KitchenAid appliances, it is top quality.

The Most Popular Cuisinart Hand Blender Models

cuisinart vs kitchenaid cuisinart, Cuisinart CSB-76BC Hand BlenderAt left is the Cuisinart CSB-76BC Hand Blender, the most popular hand blender sold at the biggest online shopping site, Amazon.com. In other words, it sells a LOT and has a lot of raving fans.
This is a basic model that doesn’t come with any extra attachments (see the next model for that). It’s just a simple hand blender that gets the job done at a very cheap price. Perhaps the pricing is what makes the model so popular, but it’s the quality that gives it such high ratings. It’s pretty powerful, at 200 watts, allowing it to blend even ice cubes with no problem. This isn’t so simple for a 100 watt or less model from other manufacturers.
It has a “one speed” blending ability that is powered with a one touch power button (push in to turn on, let go to stop). There is also a pulse and blend toggle switch.

The Cuisinart CSB-76 hand blender is a slight step up from the above model, and is also the second most popular model on Amazon.com. The CSB-76, however, comes with a few attachments.
You’ll get a chopper, whisk tip and a mixing beaker. This is also a powerful 200 watt motor that can handle almost any blending you can throw in front of it.

KitchenAid vs Cuisinart Hand Blenders - And The Winner Is?

By judgement of popularity and high ratings on the Amazon.com shopping site, one would most likely come to the conclusion that the Cuisinart models win out against all other comers, including the high-quality KitchenAid models.
Of course, there really is only one KitchenAid worth choosing, the KitchenAid KHB100ER, as others are designed poorly and get abismal ratings from all who use them. Just be wary of other models.
So in our opinion it’s a good idea to choose one of the two Cuisinart models. But the the KitchenAid KHB100ER is not too shabby as well. You cannot go wrong with any of those three models, so it becomes a personal preference.
